Practical guide

Starting Soon, transitions and end credits

Prepare the opening, return to your scene and roll credits with the right goals.

What you will be able to doYou can move between the opening, current scene and credits without losing the intended presentation.

Before you start

  • The design you intend to use and a saved current scene.
  • Goal targets and the audio route for any music or speech.

Prepare the opening and closing

  1. Choose a Starting Soon design, edit the available title and messages, and set the intended goal targets.
  2. Check the selected transition in the local preview, including how the screen enters and leaves.
  3. Prepare end credits with the title, viewer-photo choice and participation categories you want to show.
  4. Review the opening, current scene and credits at the final stream size. Check long names and the filled goal state as well as the empty design.

Send it on stream deliberately

Use the on-stream presentation control when you are ready for viewers to see Starting Soon, the current scene or end credits. A local design preview is not the same action as changing the live picture.

If you select the wrong presentation, return to the intended state and inspect its transition. These controls act inside the iTok output. To switch the actual OBS scene, configure the separate supported OBS integration.

Know where credit names come from

End credits use the public activity collected during the LIVE. Missing earlier activity may not be recoverable simply by opening the credits later. Private gifts and private notes do not belong in the public roll.

Check inclusion controls and readable pacing before a show. A saved viewer record and an activity recorded during this session are not always the same source of credit information.

Keep goals and audio intentional

Set the targets in the goal controls and check which values the chosen opening design displays. If the design shares the current goals, changing a target affects that shared goal rather than creating a new isolated total.

Starting Soon can deliberately keep other widgets out of its on-air picture. If a music card is visible in the editor but hidden during the opening, inspect the presentation’s visibility behavior. Music playback and a visible music card remain separate.

These instructions describe the reviewed iTok beta. Provider access and physical-device behavior still need to be checked in your setup.
