What you will be able to doThe source uses the correct size and link behavior, with an intentional route for sound.
Before you start
- A saved widget or scene in an invited creator account.
- Your chosen output format and the streaming software’s source settings.
- 01Edit in iTok
Choose a scene, a canvas and a named widget.
- 02Save the picture
Use Show on stream when Live edits is off.
- 03Open the source
Match the link mode and source dimensions.
- 04Check the broadcast
Verify picture and the separate audio route.
Choose what the link should contain
- Entire scene: one picture containing the enabled widgets for that scene.
- Saved scene: a source for a particular saved composition.
- Individual live-edit widget: follows that widget’s saved size, position and visibility.
- Fitted widget: centers the selected widget inside its source. Moving it in the main editor does not reposition that fitted copy.
- Sounds & TTS: the separate audio output to accompany silent individual picture sources.
In OBS
- Add a Browser source in the scene where the overlay belongs.
- Paste the iTok link and enter the width and height shown in Source setup. Do not assume every widget is a 1920 × 1080 scene.
- Check the source transform and crop in OBS. A source resized or cropped there can look different from the editor even when iTok is sending the right picture.
- Use the source’s audio controls and OBS mixer to confirm the intended audio route. Avoid playing the same output twice.
In TikTok LIVE Studio
- Add a Link source, paste the copied iTok link and choose a custom resolution matching Source setup.
- Fit it to the intended area and check its order relative to your camera and other sources.
- For a separate widget link, also keep one supported iTok audio output or capture route active if the effect needs sound.
- If using the Windows iTok Camera option, follow its camera setup instead. Camera composition and audio capture are separate parts of the setup.
When the result looks different
First compare the same scene, canvas and saved state. Then check source dimensions, external crop and scale. Only then investigate caching or the source connection. Repeatedly changing all of these at once makes a simple sizing problem harder to identify.
Keep source links private. They contain access information for your output. Share a redacted screenshot of the settings rather than the complete URL when reporting a problem.
