What you will be able to doThe track card shows the intended metadata and requests pass through a deliberate review step.
Before you start
- An available music provider or Windows desktop metadata detection.
- Permission to broadcast the music you use; displaying a track card does not grant music rights.
Choose where track information comes from
Open Music connections and use the supported account integration or opt into Windows now-playing detection. Follow the connection’s status: Service setup needed and Access needed are not connected states.
Windows detection reads the media information supplied by another player. It does not start that player or record its audio. Apple playback support uses a supported browser path, not control of every separate Apple Music app.
Place the now-playing card
- Choose a music card design and check it with a long title and artist name.
- Add it to the correct scene and review its size on the intended canvas.
- Choose a full-scene or individual source link, then inspect the resulting source dimensions in OBS or LIVE Studio.
- Capture the actual music audio separately. Seeing a track title is not an audio test.
Review requests before queueing
Use the request list to inspect a requested track and approve or reject it. Approval does not automatically start playback. Queue in Spotify is a separate explicit action and requires a working Spotify connection with the necessary access.
Confirm queue delivery using the displayed result and the player itself. A local request-list test cannot prove that a provider accepted a real track or that it will be the next audible song.
When the title or artwork is missing
- Check which provider or detection source is selected.
- Confirm the music player supplies current media information and the connection has access.
- Check widget visibility, the active scene and whether the copied link is fitted or live-edit.
- If the title updates but viewers hear nothing, check the music audio capture rather than the metadata connection.
